8.1. Mowing the lawn

 Always mow parallel to the lawn edge.
 Never cut the grass down to any lower than one-third of the grass height to
avoid damage to the plants.
8.1.1. Mowing in rough terrain
 When mowing on slopes, make sure you have secure footing.
 Do not mow on slopes with an excessive gradient of more than 15%.

9. Cleaning the appliance

Risk of injury.
 Clean the appliance only when it is switched off and
unplugged. Make sure that the blade has come to a
complete standstill.
WARNING!
Live components. There is a risk of electric shock.
 Never immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids. Do not spray the appliance with water.
 Always pull out the plug before cleaning the
appliance.
 Clean the appliance after every use, as dried grass residue is difficult to remove.
 Do not use aggressive cleaning agents as these could damage the surfaces of
the appliance.
 Keep the ventilation slots free of debris.
 Clean the appliance with a cloth or a soft brush.

10. Replacing the mower blade

You will need a size 13 combination wrench to replace the mower blade.
