not step on the wet carpet! Once you have arrived at the other end of the uphols-
tery or the carpet, release the button.
5. Now go over the same strip in reverse. The dirty water will be vacuumed up.
6. Start the next strip slightly overlapping the cleaned strip. Work with even forward
and backward movements up to the other edge. In the event of stubborn dirt, go over
a strip several times if necessary.
7. Once the dirty water tank (8) fi lls up to the Max mark, it will have to be emptied (see
chapter "After use", section "Cleaning the device").
8. If you would like to empty the dirty water tank, fi ll the fresh water tank or end the
cleaning process, place the device on the cloth you laid out. Turn it off (switch set
to 0).
9. Remove the power plug from the socket.

After use

• Let the freshly cleaned upholstery or thecarpet dry completely.
• Do not sit or step on it as long as it is still wet.
• If the cleaning solution ends up on wood fl oors or furniture, wipe it up.
• Vacuum clean the dry upholstery or the dry carpet with a vacuum cleaner. Use a
brush adapter for this (if possible).
Cleaning the device
CAUTION!
• Do not use any chemical cleaners to clean the device. They could damage the de-
vice.
• The water tanks have to be emptied and rinsed out before you put away the device.
1. Make sure that the device is switched off and the mains plug is pulled out.
2. Empty the dirty water tank. For this, push the release button (9) back and pull the
tank out of the main unit.
5. Pour the leftover cleaning solution out of the fresh water tank and clean the tank
thoroughly with warm water.
6. Allow all parts to dry completely before storing them.
7. When reattaching the dirty water tank to the device, make sure that the two recesses
on the bottom side of the tank are engaged in the catches of the device. The tank
must audibly lock into place.

3. Open the cap on the side of the dirty water tank (see pho-
to) and pour out the dirty water.
4. Rinse the tank out thoroughly with warm water.
