Selector for backlight compensation (BLC ON/OFF)
The backlight compensation attempts to darken the lighter fields of the picture and to
lighten the darker fields to enable uniform illumination of the monitored scene.
Please note, however, that direct backlighting that is too strong may not be able to be
compensated.
Select the desired mode. BLC ON: Backlight compensation is activated.
Selector for infrared LEDs (IR Auto /OFF)
In darkness, the integrated infrared LEDs are automatically switched on IR "Auto".
If you wish to use external IR illuminators, you can deactivate the integrated IR LEDs
permanently.
In this case, switch the "IR" selector to OFF. If you operate the camera in a protective
camera case, images may be affected by IR light reflection coming from the front of
the case. If this happens, switch off the LEDs permanently.
OFF: Backlight compensation is deactivated.
