3. USES
• HELIOS TITAN IP25 is suitable for indoor and outdoor areas.
4. INSTALLATION TO WALL (see pages 45-46-47)
Install the heater on the wall at a minimum distance of 50 cm from the ceiling (see installation examples page 20). The height at
which the heaters are normally installed varies from models as follows:
-mod.EHT1 from 3.0 m to a maximum of 4.0 m
-mod.EHT2 from 4,0 m to maximum of 5,0 m
-mod. EHT3 from 5,0 m to a maximum of 5,5 m
Wall mounting is the ideal solution to achieve the best results in terms of heat with the reflector at a 45° angle and the heater
perfectly horizontal. The appliance must not be placed immediately below a mains socket.
5. POSITIONING OF HELIOS TITAN
1. Aim the HELIOS TITAN reflector in the direction required for the wall-mounted installation. The normal angle is 45° to the
horizontal plane.
2. Never install HELIOS TITAN an inflammable surface or facing an inflammable surface.
3. HELIOS TITAN must be placed at a clear distance (line of vision) of not less than 2.0 metres from objects such as cardboard, fabrics,
curtains and windows. If used in workshops and garages where there are inflammable paints, HELIOS TITAN must be located more
than metres from the hazard.
4. We recommend that the heater is not used in dusty non-ventilated environments to avoid damage to the bulb.
6. WIRE GUARD
a)The wire guard should be used if protection is required (for example sports halls or places where games are played). In areas
where indoor football is played, it may be necessary to fit additional external guarding to cope with the force of impact.
b)The wire guard is simply clipped over the front of the reflector.
c) The wire guard must be installed when the heater is fixed under a height of 2,5 m from the floor level and this assembly must be
done during installation and by a qualified electrician.
d)The HELIOS TITAN protective wire guard has been designed to prevent direct access to the heating elements and must not be
removed while the heater is being used.
e)The guard does not guarantee full protection for children or the disabled.
7.MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT OF BULB
(TO BE PERFORMED BY QUALIFIED STAFF OR SPECIALIZED TECHNICIAN)
•THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF BULB.
•REPLACEMENT OF BULB IS TO BE PERFORMED ONLY BY PROFESSIONALLY QUALIFIED PERSONNNEL OR BY A SERVICING CENTRE.
•REMOVE DUST FROM THE REFLECTOR AND BULB PERIODICALLY WITH BRUSH OR COMPRESSED AIR FOR CONSTANT HELIOS TITAN
HEAT EFFICIENCY.
•THE REPLACEMENT BULB MUST BE THE SAME AS THE BULB SUPPLIED WITH THE DEVICE.
•REPLACEMENT WITH OTHER BULBS MAY DAMAGE THE DEVICE AND CAUSE IT TO BE UNSAFE. CONTACT STAR PROGETTI OR THE
RETAIL OUTLET AUTHORIZED TO SELL THE REPLACEMENT BULB, SPECIFYING THE MODEL AND CODE OF THE PURCHASED HEATER.
• THE INJECTION POINT ON THE BULB (c) MUST ALWAYS FACE OUTWARD.
