- Page 4 SETTING UP YOUR CAMERA Step 1: Download the App Download the Defender Empower app and follow the steps to create an account. An email account is required for verification. - Page 11 MOUNTING THE CAMERA Stick the provided camera drilling template to the desired mounting location. Using the provided camera mounting hardware, fasten the camera mounting base into the wall. Screw the camera to the mounting base by twisting the small knob of the mounting base. Adjust the angle of the camera, twist the screw cap around the ball joint of the mounting base to loosen, adjust the angle of the joint, then tighten the screw cap.
- Page 12 MOUNTING THE SOLAR PANEL Stick the provided solar panel drilling template to the desired mounting location. IMPORTANT: In order to connect the provided 10ft solar panel cable to the camera, the camera and solar panel should be no more than 9ft apart. Using the provided solar panel mounting hardware, fasten the solar panel mounting base into the wall.
