OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
POWER CONNECTION
The mains voltage (120V~60Hz) indicated on the rating plate must correspond with
the mains power supply. Mains connection fuse: min.10A.
1) Insert the mains plug of the unit connection cable into the combined switch/plug.
(As shown in PIC)
2) Secure with the cable grip. The loop of the mains cable must be adequately long
enough so that the cable grip can slide from one side to the other.
SWITCHING ON AND OFF
Do not start the motor in tall grass
Switch on: Press the safety lock button (11) and while holding it down, pull
the trigger switch (10) (Pic.3)
Switch off: Release the trigger switch (10).
Note: While mowing, lay the connection cable safely on footpaths and on areas
which have already been mown to avoid running it over.
INTENDED FUNCTION
There are two functions in this machine.
1) Mulching. (Pic.4)
a) Insert the mulching plug (5) into the rear of the lawn mower as shown.
Mulched grass can be used as an organic fertilizer.
b) Change to collecting the cut grass by installing
the grass catcher bag.
Note: When mulching, do not install the grass
catcher bag.
2) Folding handle for storage.
a) The upper handle can fold down. (Pic.5 -Pic.6)
b) Unclamp and loosen the quick release levers
(7), then fold the handle as shown in (Pic.6)
SETTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT
To change the cutting height, move the adjusting lever (2) to the desired
slot.(Pic.7) All wheels must be at the same height !
