TIPS ON HOW TO USE YOUR SYSTEM
Fiberglass or Stainless Steel Surfaces
Use the detail brush. Slowly move the
brush over the surface to be cleaned.
The vapor will emulsify the dirt and
grease on the surface. Follow behind
with a terry cloth towel over the brush to
remove excess moisture and residue.
Tip: An old idea for polishing stainless
steel is to wipe it down with seltzer soda
water after it is cleaned.
Bathroom Areas
To clean the bathtub or shower area, use
the detail brush for grout, shower door
tracks, hard to get areas and heavily
soiled areas. The dual edge window/tile
squeegee will be the most efficient way
to clean the rest of the area. Allow plenty
of time for the heat to penetrate the
surface. This is especially helpful in the
shower area if there is tile or grout. Wipe
with towel.
Removal of soap scum on tile, grout, and
shower doors is also easier with the
steam cleaner.
To clean sanitary fixtures, use the
concentrator nozzle with or without detail
brush. Use a terry cloth towel or paper
towel to wipe up excess moisture and
residue.
To clean the sink and faucets, use detail
brush then finish by wiping with a towel.
Soap Scum
Soap scum dissolves almost immediately
under a combination of heat and
moisture. Rinse the surface with a small
amount of water afterwards or go back
over it once more with a clean terry cloth
towel.
Note:
Soap scum sometimes will
develop a hard surface from waterborne
minerals. If this is the case, use the
detail brush to break up this surface - or
spray or wipe first with lemon, vinegar or
seltzer soda water to soften the minerals.
Moving too slowly can dry out the soap
scum and cause it to granulate on the
surface. The surface will have a gritty
feel. If this happens, apply vapor to the
surface with the detail brush again and
re-clean.
Garden Furniture
Use any of the brushes depending on
the surface area. Work quickly when
cleaning resin outdoor furniture. Finish
by wiping with a towel.
Blinds
Use the nylon detail brush to clean
blinds. Move the brush over the
surface, allowing enough time for the
vapor to penetrate. Work quickly on
PVC blinds. Test for color fastness on
fabric blinds before using. Finish by
wiping with a towel.
Automotive
For detailing the wheels, use the
concentrator and the detail brush.
Exterior windows are cleaned best by
applying the vapor with the concentrator
and following with a paper towel.
To clean bicycles, use the detail brush.
To clean equipment, use the detail
brush, depending on the surface area.
Finish by wiping down with a towel.
Artificial Plants
Use the concentrator nozzle without a
brush attached to blow off the dust and
dirt.
Nicotine and Tar
Nicotine and tar dissolves at high
temperatures and becomes a light
yellow oil that has the consistency of
sewing machine oil. When the
nicotine/tar film is touched by steam
pocket, it immediately dissolves and
flows into the steam pocket towel. You
can remove it from flat surfaces as fast
as you can move the steam pocket over
the surface.
Removing Wax, Tar, Etc.
Many stains are only stuck on the
surface of materials and can be easily
and quickly removed by "blowing"
excess material away from the surface
from the side. This is accomplished by
using the concentrator. Hold the terry
cloth towel to the side to catch the loose
residue as it is blown by the
concentrator.
Note: Always vacuum any loose residue
off the surface before you apply vapor to
it.

SUPPLÉMENTAIRES
1. Pour éviter les surcharges de circuit, n'opérez pas un autre appareil sur la même
prise de courant (circuit) que celle du nettoyeur à vapeur.
2. Si une rallonge est absolument nécessaire, une rallonge d'un calibre minimum de
15 ampères ou de14 ampères devrait être utilisée. Les rallonges ayant un calibre
pour une intensité plus faible risquent de surchauffer. Il faut faire attention au
cordon de telle sorte qu'il ne puisse pas être tiré ou faire trébucher quelqu'un.
3. Ne laissez pas l'appareil sans surveillance lorsqu'il est branché à une source
d'alimentation ou une prise de courant.
AVERTISSEMENT:
Cet appareil est équipé d'un cordon de type à 3
lames avec mise à la terre (fiche de 3 lames). Cette fiche pourra
seulement être installée sur une prise électrique prévue pour une
fiche à 3 lames. Ceci est un dispositif de sécurité. Si la fiche ne fait
pas dans la prise, contactez un électricien qualifié afin d'installer une
prise adéquate. N'essayez pas de déjouer la mesure de sécurité
qu'est la lame de mise à la terre, qui fait partie de la prise à 3 lames.
AVERTISSEMENT:
Toujours évacuer l'eau condensée qui est dans
le tuyau avant l'utilisation ou si l'appareil a été laissé en attente pour
une certaine période de temps. Pour évacuer l'eau condensée du
tuyau, dirigez le bec à l'intérieur d'un contenant approprié ou dans
l'évier et appuyez ensuite sur la gâchette à vapeur sur la poignée du
tuyau. Une fois que le tuyau a été vidé, vous pouvez utiliser
l'appareil normalement. Ne dirigez jamais le bec vers des personnes,
des animaux ou des plantes.
AVERTISSEMENT:
Votre nettoyeur à vapeur est conçu pour nettoyer
les surfaces dures ainsi que les tissus d'ameublement qui supportent la
chaleur élevée. N'utilisez pas sur du plastique souple ainsi que sur des
surfaces froides en verre. Le lustre pourrait être enlevé par la chaleur et
l'action de la vapeur sur les surfaces qui ont été traitées avec de la cire ou
sur certains planchers sans cirage. N'utilisez pas sur du bois non scellé.
Ceci pourrait provoquer l'élévation du grain de bois. Il est par conséquent
recommandé de vérifier une surface isolée de la surface à être nettoyée
avant de procéder.
IMPORTANT:
N'ajoutez PAS de produits de nettoyage, de parfums, d'huile ou
d'autres produits chimiques à l'eau utilisée dans cet appareil. Utilisez l'eau du
robinet ou de l'eau distillée si l'eau du robinet de votre région est très dure.
AVERTISSEMENT:
Danger de brûlure. Veuillez être prudent lorsque
vous utilisez le nettoyeur à vapeur. La vapeur qui sort de la buse est très
chaude.
