Dim 6 : DMX 512
What happens when DMX fails?
When the DMX signal fails, three responses are possible:
Keep last DMX
this is the default factory setting
Fade to black after ... seconds
Fade to cue... after ... seconds
This selection is included in Service Menu 3. Please refer to the
manual "Programming digital dimmers and NETBUS".
Menu Level 2 - advanced functions
Menu 2 gives access to the following functions:
Scan Loads
test chaser and (optional) load check
Learn Loads
(optional) record reference loads
View Loads
display results of latest Scan Load
Mult. factor
set a proportional factor, per dimmer
Memories
use the local memories (cues)

How to select Menu 2

The triple YES will protect against tampering.

How to test all the dimmers (Scan Loads chaser)
Scan Loads runs a test chaser through all the dimmers.

depress <— to end the Scan Loads test chaser, to restore
normal operation, and to return to the main Menu.
If the dimmer is fitted wih optional Diagnostics, Scan Loads will
measure actual load values. Please refer to the manual
"Programming Digital Dimmers and NETBUS".
How to Record a cue (Record)
Example :
you wish to record into memory N°2.
First set the correct levels with the lighting console.
Then your MEMOPACK can make a snapshot:
select Menu 2, as indicated above
depress + or - until
Memories ?
depress + until
Record Mem.
depress + or - until
Rec. Mem. 2

Mem. recorded to confirm
The # symbol precedes the number of a cue which already exists.
How to play back a memorized cue (Play)
Your MEMOPACK can store 20 lighting cues (memories),
dimmer levels, Fade and Wait times. To play back cue #2 :

How will DMX coexist with the Memories?

Cue No. 0: the Priority Cue
Memory (cue) N°0 is the Priority Cue. Its playback will always
temporarily disable the DMX and Analogue inputs. This is not
influenced by the setting in Prior. Mem/DMX?
Application: play-back of a predefined emergency cue with
limited total current consumption.
Priority Cue N°0 is not included in the Memory Chaser.

Automatic play-back of a cue at power-up

If the mains supply was switched off while your MEMOPACK
was in the Memo Playing or Memory chaser mode, then it will
automatically resume that mode when powered up again.

How to Edit a cue (Edit)
You can create or modify a lighting cue in your MEMOPACK, by

After setting the last dimmer level, you can set the Fade time
(min.s) for that cue, followed by the Wait time for the Memory
Chaser. An infinite wait time is available to create e memory
chaser which does not loop back.

and <— to return to the main Menu

How to run the memory sequence (Memory Chaser)
Memory Chaser runs an automatic timed sequence of cues #1
to #19. It can be looped back, or not.
