Introduction: Use of MENU
Your MEMOPACK can be programmed by means of three
different menus, for 4 levels of application:
• Menu 0 displays the status of the DMX address, and Patch
INFO, but without access to modifications
• Menu 1 opens up basic functions such as patching of DMX
addresses, dimmer laws, dimmer test and flash
• Menu 2 provides advanced functions
• Menu 3 is the Maintenance Menu
• SimplestMenu hides the menus, and you can only modify
the starting DMX address
If you select a different Menu Level, then your selection will also
be maintained after power-up.

How to modify the DMX addresses
Example : to set the start address to 31, so that dimmer No.
1 is 31, No. 2 is 32, No. 3 is 33,...
depress + or - until Start @ ...
depress + or - until Dim 1 DMX 31
If you want continuous DMX numbering, but a patch was
programmed previously, then you must first erase the patch:
depress + or - until Edit Patch?
the display shows Erase Patch?
How to modify the address for one dimmer (patch)
Example: you wish to set dimmer No. 2 to address 120
depress + or - until Edit Patch ?
the display shows Dim 1 : DMX ...
depress + or - until Dim 2 : DMX ...
depress + or - until Dim 2 : DMX 120 depress YES
depress <— to return to main Menu
House Patch
The House Patch is a user-defined favourite patch which is
recalled with Edit Patch and edited in Service Menu 3.
How to display the current DMX patch (Info)
While setting a parameter for one dimmer, e.g. dimmer law, its
level in a cue, its factor, the INFO function will instantly display
the DMX address:
depress INFO
depress + or - to view the addresses
to quit: depress INFO or wait for three seconds
How to test one dimmer (Test)
Test controls one single dimmer, at a preset level of 50%, or at
the level of your choice. Test acts on one single dimmer.
Example: to test dimmer 3 at 50%
depress + or - until Test a dim ?
depress + until Test 3:50%
the display shows Test 3:50%
depress + or - to modify the dimmer level
depress <— to end dimmer test and <— to return to main Menu
How to flash one dimmer (Flash)
Flash is similar to Test, but the dimmer will flash at a preset level
of 50%. Flash acts on one single dimmer, the others are not
affected. Very useful to find a dimmer in a rig.

Selection of dimmer laws
Your MEMOPACK stores 10 dimmer laws :
linear with 5% preheat
Mix indicates that some dimmers are set to a different law.
The custom law can be programmed on site by the user.

The Clear menu allows you to clear any or all parameters
• Clear Patch
• Clear Laws
• Clear Factors
• Clear Cues
• Clear Loads
• Clear All

A message ... cleared confirms that the parameters were
cleared. The advanced function ClearCONFIG (Menu 3) clears
factory-set parameters and is for service staff only.
SimplestMenu - start address and nothing else
You can first set dimmer laws, program cues etc. and then hide
all the menu functions except the Starting Address.

To leave SimplestMenu and restore access to the full menu:

Note: if you selected Menu Level 0, and then SimplestMenu,
then even the DMX start address cannot be modified.
