PARALLEL CORD SET

NSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY REGULATIONS
Potential danger.
Indicates a dangerous situation if the warning is not heeded. Failure to follow the instruction indicated may cause
minor injuries to those concerned or damage to equipment.
IMPORTANT
Never connect to an electrical line from a power company.
The INVERTER PRO SDMO genuine special-purpose parallel cord set can only be used for parallel operation of two INVERTER PRO
SDMO generators. It cannot be used for parallel operation of three or more generators. The two same generators can only be operated
in parallel using a INVERTER PRO SDMO genuine special-purpose parallel cord set. Never attempt to connect the generators using a
cable other than the special-purpose parallel cord set. Securely plug in the special connector plugs all the way into the receptacles
when connecting the parallel cord set to the generators and when connecting an electrical device.
During parallel operation, only use the output from the receptacle of the parallel cord set. Do not use the receptacle on the generator
control panel. Do not disconnect the parallel cord set during parallel operation. Connect the parallel cord set prior to starting the
engine, and only disconnect it after turning off the engine. Do not output electricity after stopping one of the generator engines with
the parallel cord set still connected. Do not connect the parallel cord set when two generators are operating independently. For
handling the generator, refer to the owner's manual of the product.

TARTING
1) This set requires two INVERTER PRO SDMO generators, which have the same specifications, in order to function as designed. (See C)
Be certain that both generators are turned off, and all plugs are removed from all output receptacles before
continuing with parallel cord set connections (see A).
IMPORTANT
2) Insert the bolt ① as shown, tighten with the nut ②, and then install the parallel cord set. After this, place the parallel cord set to
the setting position (See B).
Never install the parallel cord set to the left-side handle of the generator. Otherwise, exhaust heat from the
muffler could cause the damage to the cable.
Make sure that the parallel cord set is securely installed so that it does not come off during operation as result of

vibration.
3) Securely plug the connector plugs③ of the parallel cord set into the connector socket ④ located on the control panel of each
generator.
4) Connect the ground connection terminal ⑤ of the parallel cord set to each of the ground terminal ⑥ of the two generators (see C).
5) Start one of the generators. This will be the primary generator. Verify that the AC pilot light is illuminated on the primary generator
and that the unit is functioning correctly.
TIP: The AC pilot light on the non-running generator (secondary) will be illuminated when the parallel cord set is properly connected.
This is not a malfunction.
6) Start the secondary generator.
Always make sure to ground (earth) the both generators if the electrical device being used is grounded (see
D).
IMPORTANT
7) Securely plug the special plug ⑧ into the receptacle ⑨on the parallel cord, set making sure that all devices connected to the
special plug are off (see D).
TIP Do not exceed the rated output (Rated output during parallel running: INVERTER PRO 2000 SDMO: 3 kVA). The overload
indicator light may come on for a few seconds at first when using electric devices that require a large starting current, such as a
compressor or a submergible pump. However, this is not a malfunction.

TOPPING
1) Turn off the power of the electrical device and then unplug the special plug from the receptacle.
2) Turn off both generators and then disconnect the parallel cord set from the two generators.
