General Information

The nanoBOX is a polyethylene lifting station for the collection and
disposal of wastewater from showers, sinks and washing machines/
dishwashers which cannot be discharged into the sewer by gravity.
It is recommended above all for lifting wastewater from washing ma-
chines and sinks installed in basements.
It must not be used with corrosive or combustible liquids, liquids with
explosion risks, or black water from urinals or WCs.

To install lifting stations correctly and ensure their safe use,
read the contents of this manual with care before carrying out
any procedure.
Installation operations must be carried out by skilled technical staff.
Improper use of the product may cause injury or damage, as well as
immediate forfeiture of warranty rights.
The instructions in this manual refer to the types of installation re-
commended and considered standard. In the event of different in-
stallation modes, contact Zenit.
When ordering spare parts, always state the product's serial number
and complete code, marked on the nameplate.
In all cases, everything described in this manual must be harmoni-
sed with the regulations in force at the place of installation.
Make sure that the pump is disconnected from the electrical mains
before doing any work on the system.
If in doubt, seek the manufacturer's advice before proceeding with
any repair or replacement job and use only genuine parts when re-
placing failed or worn components.
Since septic tanks may contain poisonous GASES, ENSURE air cir-
culation before starting work.
Keep out of the reach of children; this product is not suitable for
unskilled or incompetent persons.
DO NOT place your hands or objects near and/or insert them in the
intake strainer or outlet.

Do not submerge your hands or parts of your body in the tank until
the pump's electricity supply has been disconnected.
Do not swallow or inhale parts of the product.
Do not allow the free ends of the power supply cables to come into
contact with any liquid, including the liquid in the tank.
Whenever maintenance or repair work is performed on an electric
pump, especially if it is submerged in a biological or hazardous li-
quid, clean all parts thoroughly and wash it with plenty of water or
specific products.
In general terms, the system must be used in accordance with the
DIN EN 12050-2, DIN EN 12056 and DIN 1986 -100 standards.

Residual risks

Even if used correctly, the product still involves an electric
shock hazard, typical of all systems connected to the electrical
mains.
Personal protection equipment (PPE) to be used
Wear suitable clothing when handling the product: safety footwear,
goggles and gloves and a leather apron or similar protection.
Description of the lifting station
The lifting station comprises a polyethylene collection tank with:
Airtight cover;
Submersible electric pump automatically operated by means of a
float switch;
1 1/4" GAS delivery pipeline with check valve;
Two intake pipeline connections DN 40 and DN 30;
Odourless breather with activated carbon filtering element with anti-
overflow protection.
