SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

General
• Read all instructions carefully before use. Keep this instruction manual for future
reference.
• Only use this appliance for its intended purpose, as described in this manual.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8
and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
• Repairs must be performed by a qualified electrician. Never try to repair the appliance
yourself.
Electricity and heat
• Before use, ensure the mains voltage matches the rating plate of the appliance.
• Always use an earthed wall socket to connect the appliance.
• Always remove the plug from the mains socket before moving the appliance and when the
appliance is not in use.
• Remove the plug from the wall socket by pulling the plug, not the power cord.
• Regularly check the power cord for damages – if found, do not use the appliance.
Damaged power cords must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified personnel.
• Parts of this appliance will get hot. Do not touch these parts to prevent burns.
• The appliance needs space for heat to escape, preventing fire risk. Make sure the
appliance has sufficient space around it and does not is not near flammable material.
• Do not cover the appliance.
• Keep the appliance, its power cord and the plug away from hot hobs, naked flames and
other hot surfaces.
