MAINTENANCE
Note: Please ensure a qualified electrician carries out all maintenance procedures.
The mixer is designed to give many years of trouble free operation. It is, however, important that the
simple regular maintenance listed in this section is carried out. It is recommended that an approved
we dealer carries out all major maintenance and repairs. Always use genuine replacement parts, the
use of spurious parts may void your warranty. Before any maintenance is carried out on the machine,
ensure it is unplugged.

The machine is fitted with self-deactivating carbon motor brushes. This means that the machine will
automatically switch off once the brushes have been worn down to a certain level. See the
instructions below on how to replace then.
Replacing the Carbon Motor Brushes.
1. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, unscrew the two brush holders (8) which are located on either
side of the motor casing.
2. Remove the worn out brushes, and replace with new brushes.
3. Re-tighten both brush holders (8) ensuring that the brushes are securely fitted.
