12. FITTING THE PARALLEL GUIDE (See Fig. L1, L2,
L3 & M)
Before using the parallel guide you will need to
assemble the guide. Remove the two screws (a),
spring washer (b) and washer (c) from the end of the
two parallel shafts (d) (See Fig. L3) and fit the guide to
the bars using the washers and screws you removed.
Tighten screws securely (See Fig. L2).
Insert the bars into the grooves in the base of the
router. Adjust the guide to the required cutting width
and tighten the two parallel guide locking screws (See
Fig. L3).
