 Press the tilting arm release button with your
left hand while simultaneously pushing the
tilting arm downwards carefully with your right
hand until it clicks into place.
 Fit the splash guard on the mixing bowl.
The food processor is ready for use.

6.2. Performing a test run

Once you have fitted the mixing/kneading attachment, perform a test run without
food.
 Connect the food processor to a 220–240 V ~ 50/60 Hz mains socket.
 Turn the speed control clockwise and test each speed level for a few seconds.
 After the test run, turn the appliance off by moving the speed control to the 0 po-
sition.

6.3. Removing the mixing/kneading attachment

 Switch the appliance off and remove the food processor plug from the socket.
 Remove the splash guard.
 Press the tilting arm release button to tilt the arm upwards. The tilting arm must
audibly click into place. Turn the attachment clockwise and remove it.
 Rotate the mixing bowl against the direction of the arrow and remove it from
the base plate.
The accessories can now be cleaned.

7. Using the food processor

You will need to fit the correct attachment depending on the recipe. The table be-
low is a guide to the attachments needed for different purposes:
