Connecting other equipment

This is an example of MZ-123BT connections.
Precautions before making connections
p Carefully read the operation manuals of the devices to be connected and then connect them correctly.
p Before making connections, turn this unit and all equipment to be connected off (standby).
p Install all connected devices, including this unit, so that they are powered from the same line. When using a power strip or similar
device, be sure to use one that has high current capacity (thick cable) in order to minimize fluctuations in power voltage.
p Before connecting audio equipment, set the following knobs to their lowest values.
Failure to do so could cause sudden loud noises from monitoring equipment, and this could damage the equipment or harm hearing.
o INPUT GAIN knob (2)
o Mic input VOLUME knobs (w)
o Line input VOLUME knobs (t)
o Line output VOLUME knobs (p)
o PHONES VOLUME knob (s)
o Line input GAIN knobs (k)
o Mic input GAIN knobs (c)
p Set the front and rear PHANTOM switches to OFF.
