● Do not soak the product, the battery or the charger in
water or any other liquid, there is risk of electric shock.
● Do not put or keep the product where it can fall, or be
pulled down.
● Make sure that no clothing, jewellery or hair can come
in contact with the hot soldering tip.
● Only use correct battery with the product. The use of
other batteries can result in a risk of personal injury or
fire.
● Do not use the product in explosive environments, for
example near flammable liquids, gas or dust.
● Do not touch the soldering tip or let it come in contact
with other materials more than the solder and the
workpiece.

Operation
Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there is a
risk of death or injury.
● Do not solder live circuits.
● Do not disassemble the product.
● Hold the product by the insulated grips during use.
This prevents the risk of electric shock if the tip comes
into contact with concealed electrical wires or its own
power cable. The metal parts of the product will
become live if the tip comes into contact with a live
wire.
● Do not use the product where it can get wet.
There is a risk of electric shock if water gets into the
product. Water can also short circuit and damage the
battery and cause a fire.
● Stop the product before you remove the battery or
move the product.
3.1
To attach and remove the battery
Caution! Make sure that the battery is correctly
attached. If the battery become loose, it can cause
personal injury.
Caution! Do not force the battery in place. If it is
not easy to attach, it is not correctly aligned.
3.1.1 To attach the battery

Align the battery to the slots in the casing.

Push the battery until a click is heard.
3.1.2 To remove the battery

Push the button on the front of the battery.

Pull the battery out from the battery port.
3.2 To operate the product
Warning! Wear safety gloves, safety glasses and a
dust filter mask if necessary.
Note! After the product is used for 10 minutes it auto-
matically goes to energy-saving mode and the red status
starts to flash slowly. If the product goes into the power
saving mode, push the power button again to go back to
the normal operating mode. Otherwise the product will
stop after 10 minutes.
3.2.1
To start the product

Connect a fully charged battery.

Put the soldering tip inside the holder.

Push and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
Note! The red indicator will light up when you start the
product and change to green when the product get to the
correct temperature.
3.2.2 To stop the product
1
Put back the soldering tip in the holder.

Push the power button to stop the product.
3.2.3 To solder
Note! Use a wet sponge or a wash cloth to clean the
soldering tip during operation. Wet a sponge or a piece
of cloth, squeeze out the water and put the sponge or the
cloth in a tray.

Start the product and wait until the indicator light
change to green to make sure that the product has
come up to the correct temperature.

Put the soldering wire on the soldering tip so that
the solder melts and flows over the tip.

Put the soldering wire on the soldering point and
hold the tip against it until the solder melts and
forms a bond.
