HOW TO USE
INTENDED USE
Intended for gluing wood, plastic, foam plastic,
textile, tiles and ceramic, etc. The glue can
also be used to seal holes and seal joints. The
product is only intended for household use.
GLUING
1.
Insert a glue stick through the opening
and push in all the way.
2.
Plug the plug into a power point.
3.
Allow the glue gun to warm up for about
5 minutes.
4.
Carefully press the trigger and apply glue
to the surfaces of the joint. Join parts
within 15 to 20 seconds after applying
the glue. The glue congeals after about
30 seconds and reaches 90% of its full
strength after 1 minute. If the glue is
applied thicker it takes longer to congeal,
and shorter to congeal if applied thinly.
5.
Insert new glue sticks when necessary.
Tips for gluing
•
Large surfaces should not be glued in one
go, but should if possible be divided up
into smaller sections. Apply the glue in
wavy strings.
•
Preheating of the joint surfaces with a hot
air gun increases the bonding strength of
the glue.
•
Allow surplus glue and residue to
completely cool before removing.
•
Hotmelt glue joints can be separated or
corrected by reheating with a hot air gun.
•
The supplied long sleeve is intended for
gluing joints difficult to reach, and for filling
cavities and plugholes etc. The nozzle can
only be changed when the glue gun is cold.
•
Test temperature sensitive material first,
by for example gluing small samples.
