Switching On
1. Place the scale on a flat, smooth surface.
2. Press the ON / OFF Taste. The segments "
appear briefly in the display. Next, " " and "
in the display.
Weighing
1. Use the UNIT button to select the desired unit of meas-
urement: "g", "kg", "lb" or "oz".
2. Wait for the
symbol to indicate that the scale is ready
to measure.
3. Place the goods on the scale plate centred as far as
possible.
4. When the
symbol appears, the measurement has
been completed.
5. You may then read off the measurement.
Tare Function
You would like to add a further ingredient to the first ingredi-
ent and then weigh it?
1. Press the TARE button briefly.
2. The scale is reset to " ". Wait for the
cate that the scale is ready to measure.
3. If you now place further ingredients on the scale their
weight is displayed.

Switching Off
NOTE:
With the automatic switch-off the scale turn off automati-
cally after approximately 120 seconds.
If you want to turn off the scale earlier, press and hold the
ON / OFF button for approx. 3 seconds.
CAUTION:
• Do not immerse the appliance in water! The electronic
components can be damaged.
• Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive objects.
• Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Clean the appliance with a slightly moist cloth. Make
sure that no humidity or waters seeps into the appliance!
• Dry the appliance well after cleaning with a dry and soft
cloth.
Keep the appliance in a clean, dry place.
