SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all warnings, safety instructions and
other instructions carefully before use. Failure
to follow all the instructions and safety
instructions can result in the risk of electric
shock, fire and/or serious personal injury.

Electrical installation must only be carried
out by an authorised electrician – risk of
personal injury and/or death as a result of
electric shock. Never touch live parts. The
product must only be connected to an
earthed power point.

Leave enough free space around the
product to ensure the circulation of cool
air through the ventilation openings on
the front and back. Keep the area around
the product free from sand, soil, dust and
other debris that can be sucked in through
the ventilation openings. Failure to follow
these instructions can result in
overheating and damage to the product.

Avoid grinding so that particles are
directed towards the product. Metal
particles are conductive and can result in
malfunctioning and damage if they
penetrate the product.

Do not stack the product.
•
Never underestimate the weight of
equipment to be handled, loaded or
unloaded, or go or stand under a
suspended load, or lift or load over
persons or animals Dropped equipment
can cause personal injury. Never lift the
product with the gas cylinder installed.
•
Place the product on a smooth, level and
stable surface.
•
Never touch live parts or welding
electrodes, especially not with wet hands
or parts of the body, or with wet clothes.
•
Always make sure that no part of the body
is earthed – risk of electric shock if your
body is earthed.
•
Always wear dry, insulated gloves.
•
Vapour and gas produced during welding
can be dangerous or harmful to health.
•
Avoid inhaling welding fumes/gas, use
exhaust extraction and ensure good
ventilation of the workplace.
•
Welding sparks can cause fires or explosions.
•
Keep flammable material at a safe
distance from the work area.
•
Do not carry out welding on containers
that have contained flammable material.
•
UV radiation from arcs can cause burn
injuries.
•
Use welding goggles, ear protection and
protective clothing. Make sure that the
workplace is well shielded in order to not
expose onlookers or passers-by to UV
radiation and welding spatter.
•
Avoid using the product in damp
conditions or rain.
