5. Screw the grease gun head onto the barrel stopping 2-3 turns
before the head is fully tight.
6. Prime the grease gun by following the steps in the section Priming
the Grease Gun below.
7. Connect the grease gun pipe and coupler onto the grease gun
outlet using a thread sealant to make a seal-proof connection. DO
NOT over tighten as this may fracture the outlet.
SUCTION LOADING
1. Unscrew the grease gun head from the barrel counter-clockwise.
2. Insert the open end of the barrel about 2 inches into the grease
container.
3. Slowly pull back the plunger handle to draw grease into the empty
barrel while pushing the grease barrel deeper into the grease until
the plunger rod is fully extended. This will help prevent air pockets.
4. Wipe extra grease off of the outside of the grease gun. Shake the
gun to allow the grease to settle.
5. Tightly screw the grease gun head onto the barrel

TRANSFER PUMP LOADING
1. Wipe the grease gun's bulk loader valve clean of grease and
possible debris.
2. Activate the transfer pump until a small amount of grease comes
out to minimize the transfer of trapped air.
3. Rotate the plunger handle to engage the plunger rod with the
follower. Connect the bulk loader valve tightly on the grease gun to
the loader adapter on the transfer pump line.
4. Start operating the transfer pump, keeping your hand on the grease
gun, lightly pushing it down onto the transfer pump.
5. The barrel is full when it becomes difficult to pump and the follower
rod will be extended approximately 8 inches exposing the plunger
rod groove. Stop at this time.
6. Disconnect the Bulk Loader Valve from the transfer pump line.
