This is a summary of the full Google Consumer Hardware Limited Warranty
– UK, EEA (except France) and Switzerland ('Limited Warranty'). The full
Limited Warranty is available in device setup, in device settings at Settings >
Aboutphone > LimitedWarranty and for download at g.co/devicewarranty.
The Limited Warranty only applies if you are a consumer and your
Google-branded product ('Google Product') was purchased in the UK, EEA
(except France) or Switzerland from Google or a Google-authorised reseller.
The Limited Warranty is a voluntary manufacturer's warranty. It provides rights
separate from rights provided to you by statutory law, such as remedies
against the seller, free of charge, in case of lack of conformity, and does not
restrict or reduce those statutory rights. If your Google Product is defective,
you may have statutory rights which you can claim against the company who
sold you the Google Product, free of charge.
Google (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA, 94043,
USA) warrants that the Google Product (including any accessories packaged
with it) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal
use as described in the published product documentation for two years from
the date of original purchase. The Limited Warranty only applies to hardware
components (and not to any software elements) of the Google Product and
does not apply to products refurbished by third parties, even if sold by
a Google-authorised reseller, or to consumable parts that, due to their nature,
diminish over time, unless failure occurred due to a defect in materials or
workmanship under normal use. The Limited Warranty does not apply to
cosmetic damage or damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents or
misuse. Liquid damage voids the Limited Warranty. The Limited Warranty is
only valid and enforceable in the UK, EEA (except France) and Switzerland,
and can be redeemed anywhere in those countries.
