Initial Startup
1.
Unpack your toaster and remove any packing
materials, including the cardboard insert in the
toaster slots. While still unplugged, carefully
tilt your toaster and scan the QR code on the
bottom to auto-register your toaster for a
limited 2-year warranty, or visit
R180CPwelcome
to manually register your
toaster.
2.
Place the toaster on a clutter-free counter top
and plug it into a grounded outlet.
3.
When the screen turns on, follow the pop-
ups to learn more about your Revolution
R180 Connect Plus. To set up your Revolution
InstaGLO® R180 Connect Plus, press the gear
button in the upper right-hand corner. Press
"Wi-fi" and toggle the Wi-fi button "on" and
connect your toaster to your local network. You
can then choose to auto-detect your location.
If the auto-detect does not accurately display
your location, use the search bar to type
in your desired city. You can also choose to
display the weather on the idle screen, and
select auto-set option for the clock.
If you do not wish to connect your toaster, you
can keep the Wi-fi toggle "off" and set the
time manually by opening the Time and Date
drop down and set your local time (the local
weather is not available without Wi-fi).
Note: Network connectivity is used by your
Revolution Toaster to automatically check
for software update availability, set the
time, and display weather forecast. It is also
used to download software updates (only
revcook.com/
installed with user permission). By connecting
your toaster to receive notifications, date/
time, and weather-related information, you
agree that we may collect your IP address.
Your toaster does not collect or share any
personally identifiable information, nor does
Revolution Cooking collect or store usage
information from your toaster.
4.
Before placing food in the toaster, we
recommend selecting "Bread" and level 4 and
running two toast cycles. This will prepare the
toaster for toasting (don't forget to remove the
cardboard insert!). A mild odor is normal and
will subside.
