Note: In some cases you may need to close the
mount between your bindings. Position them fore/
aft to best avoid hatch contact. You can also flip the
mounting clamps so the knobs clear your bindings.
If your bindings contact the vehicle, use
the SkiLift accesory #8860037 (sold
separately). Follow the instructions that
come with your SkiLift accessory to install.

1. Unlock the mounts.
2. Press the button to open the mounts.
3. Carefully remove your fishing rods, skis, or boards.
4. Close and lock the mounts.

• Press the buttons and open the mounts.
• Load your rods with tips toward the front of the vehicle
(break down rods if over 7'). TIP: Use rubber bands to
secure the ends.
• Space the rods about 3" apart.
• Position the reels between the carriers for added security.
• Stagger the reels to avoid interference. Rods can be
mounted in either direction.
• Avoid placing rod eyeholes against the mounts.
• Avoid pinching by placing rods 1" away from the pad ends.
• For additional roof to reel clearance, use theYakima
SkiLift accessory #8860037 (sold separately).
• Verify closure by pulling upward on the rods to see if the
mounts open. If they open, apply more pressure when
closing the mounts.
• Use the keys to lock your mounts.
• Press the buttons and open the mounts.
• Load your skis, keeping the tips toward the rear of
the vehicle.
• Load bindings between the mounts.
• Close mounts with firm pressure.
• For additional roof-to-binding clearance use the
Yakima SkiLift accessory #8860037 (sold separately).
• Verify closure by pulling upward on the skis to see if
the mount opens. If they open, apply more pressure
when closing the mounts.
• Use the keys to lock your mounts.
REMOVAL • DÉPOSE • DESINSTALACIÓN
1. Loosen the security screws (do not remove them).
2. Loosen the knobs enough to rotate the T-bolt,
and open the clamps.
3. Carefully lift the mounts from your vehicle.
