8.2.2 REFRIGERATION UNIT
Internal temperature: sets the lower internal cabinet temperature of the machine, i.e. the temperature below
which the compressor is turned off. The pre-set value is +3°C. This value can be varied between +2 and
+25°C.
Defrost termination temperature: every time the compressor pauses, the temperature of the evaporator is
controlled by the evaporator feeler. This command allows the evaporator temperature to be set, above
which, after dripping, the compressor can restart operating; this is to ensure complete defrosting of the
evaporator itself. The command is pre-set at 3°C and can vary between 3°C and 12°C.
Defrost interval: set the defrost interval in hours - i.e. the time between one defrost cycle and the next. This
value can be varied from 1h to 8h, and is pre-set at 4h.

Refrigerator safety action delay: sets the delay time for refrigerator safety activation. This period of time
prevents the vending machine from shutting down following an operation that involves having the door open
with the subsequent increase in the internal temperature. The delay in activating the refrigeration unit safety
device gives the machine time to return to its normal operating temperature. The value of this command is
pre-set at 60 min, but can be varied from 30 to 360 min.
Refrigerator safety temperature: sets the trigger temperature for the safety device, that is the temperature
above which it prevents the machine from vending the selected
