Installation Instructions
1. Remove rear tires using 22MM socket. See Figure 1.

2. If vehicle does not have claddings skip to step 5. If vehicle has

claddings, remove (4) fasteners along cladding rear edge. Re-

move (3) fasteners along cladding front edge. See Figure 2.

3. Pry (3) clips to loosen bottom of "C" pillar door seals using trim
removal tool. See Figure 3.
4. Remove rocker moldings. Remove any broken clips from
body sides.
5. Install (11) plastic clips on mounting areas on top of step
assist and in plastic brackets. See figure 4. If vehicle does
not have cladding, remove splashguard and save screw for
reuse in step 8. See figure 5. Verify that attachment tab on
large plastic brackets are properly secured in cladding slot as
indicated by large arrow in figure 4.

  • Page 8 12. Suivre les instructions uniquement si le clip de joint d'étanchéité de porte du montant « C » se brise. Percer dans le rebord inférieur du joint et du marchepied avec un foret 3/32 po. Serrer la vis (N/P GM 11509253) à travers le joint dans le marchepied, comme illustré.
