The level of browning will be higher if you only use one slot in the toast-
er or if the slot is not full. You should therefore set the browning control
between level 2 and 3 as a maximum, to avoid excessively dark toast.

Press down the lever until you hear it lock into place. The heat-
ing elements switch on automatically and the LED next to the cancel button
lights up. The toast pops out of the slot as soon as it reaches the level of brown-
ing set. The heating elements will turn off.
 If you want to end the toasting process early, press the cancel button

7.1. Defrosting frozen bread

If you want to toast frozen bread,
 put the bread into the toaster,
 select the level of browning and push down the lever.
 Then, press the defrost button
Compared with normal toasting, the defrosting process takes a little longer to
achieve the same level of browning.

7.2. Warming up bread

If you want to warm up toasted bread that has cooled down,
 push down the lever and press the warm-up button
lights up.
Warm-up lasts for around 1/2 minute, regardless of the level of browning set.

7.3. Using the bun rack

CAUTION!
Risk of injury from burning.
The casing will become hot during operation.
 After use, only handle the bun rack by the plastic
grips, not by the metal parts.
