5. HOW DOES AN ELECTRIC FENCE WORK?

The VOSS.farming impuls is the heart of your fence. It generates electrical
pulses at regular intervals. The unit is connected to the ground ("grounding") and
the conducting material of your fence. If a connection is made between the
ground and the fence (short circuit) – such as by contact with animals – then
the circuit is closed. The electric shock felt by the animal is completely safe, yet
very unpleasant, and scares the animal away.
