9. Handling

Observe all safety instructions in this operation man ual!
You may only operate the product in dry indoor areas. Contact
with moisture must be avoided at all times. Never touch the de-
vice or the external power pack unit with wet or moist hands!
There is a risk of a fatal electric shock.
• The following unfavourable conditions are to be avoided at the place of
installation or during transport:
- damp or excessively high air humidity
- extreme cold or heat
- direct sunlight
- dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- strong vibrations
• When the product is brought from a cold into a warm room condensation may
form.
Let the digital UHF-modulator and the power pack unit reach room temperature
before using the devices or connecting them to the mains voltage. This may take
several hours.
Otherwise the digital UHF-modulator and the power pack unit may get damaged,
furthermore there is the risk of a mortal electric shock!
• When installing the device, make sure that no cables are pinched or caught.
