• For safety and licensing reasons (CE), unauthorised conversion and/or modifi-
cations to the product are not permitted. Moreover, the warranty/guarantee will
lapse in such cases.
• This product is not a toy, it is not suitable for children. Children cannot judge
the dangers involved when handling electrical devices. Therefore, be especially
careful when children are around.
• The product is intended for use in dry, indoors, it must not get damp or wet! This
would not only destroy the product but it also represents a deadly peril through
an electric shock!
• When the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. during trans-
port), condensation water may form. This could damage the product. There is
also the deadly peril of an electric shock.
Wait until the product has reached room temperature before using it. This may
take several hours.
• Never position vessels or containers containing liquids, such as buckets, vases
or plants, in the immediate vicinity of the product. Liquids could seep into the
casing and in doing so impair the electrical safety of the device. There is further-
more a high risk of fire or of a life-threatening electric shock!
