The MODEX control component can be used in the ranges of
temperature classes T4 to T5. The component's flameproof
encapsulation is designed for resistance to temperatures from -40 °C
to +100 °C.
The rated voltage, rated current and in the case of switching devices
the utilisation category depend on the respective installed
components and are determined by the manufacturer.

5. Transport and Storage
ATTENTION
Damage due to incorrect storage!
Adhere to storage and transport temperatures.
Condensation can form on the components in a cold
environment.
Use the original packaging for transport/storage.
6. Assembly
WARNING
Danger in the event of incorrect procedures!
Assembly location outside the potentially explosive atmosphere
in the enclosure with at least IP20 or closed switchgear.
Assembly, disassembly, installation and commissioning work
may be done only by qualified personnel who are authorised
and trained to assemble electric components in hazardous
areas.
The relevant installation and operating regulations, such as
e.g. Directive 1999/92/EC, Directive 94/9/EC, BetrSichV (the
German industrial health and safety ordinance), EN/IEC
60079-14, the DIN VDE 0100 series and other applicable
national standards or ordinances, must be observed when
setting up or operating explosion-proof electric systems.
