V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
This product is a portable stereo FM or DAB radio intended for domestic indoor use. With
Bluetooth built-in and AUX-in port, user can stream music and listen to favourite tracks. The tool is
not designed for artisanal, commercial, professional and/or industrial use.
5.2- Basic operation
Preparation
The radio has 2 power supply options:
• Ribimex 20V Li battery pack (not included) – Open the battery compartment cover (10), then
insert the battery pack into the battery compartment (9) and restore the cover.
• 18V DC adaptor (included) – Open the cover of the adaptor terminal port (8) and insert the
adaptor terminal into it, then plug the adaptor into a wall socket.
Mode selection
• Press the MODE button, the display will show 4 modes on the screen: DAB – FM –
BLUETOOTH – AUX.
• Select your preferred mode and press OK on the selection wheel (5) to confirm your choice.
Adjusting the volume
• Turn the selection wheel (5) anti-clockwise to decrease the sound volume, while turn the
selection wheel (5) clockwise to increase the sound volume.
System settings
• Press and hold INFO/MENU button until the setup menu is displayed.
• Press  or  keys to switch between options: TIME > ALARM > LANGUAGE >
BACKLIGHT > SLEEP > EQ > RESET > SW VER.
Time settings
• Select TIME in the setup manual, then user can set the system date and time with using the ,
 keys and OK button on the selection wheel (5) in the adjustment.
• If manual time update is preferred, make sure AUTO UPDATE is set to NO UPDATE.
• AUTO UPDATE: user can choose either ANY, UPDATE FROM DAB, UPDATE FROM FM
or NO UPDATE.
• Set time format to either 12-hour clock or 24-hour clock.
• Select the date format to either MM-DD-YYYY or DD-MM-YYYY.
