Before you stand on the scales, you can choose whether the weight should
be displayed in kilograms (kg), pounds (lb) or stone (st:lb). Press the 
buttons to set the unit.
4. Stand on the scales. Make sure that your feet are placed correctly on the contact
areas. The body weight will be calculated.
5. Once the body weight has been established, the number on the display begins to
fl ash. The other values are calculated immediately after this. This is indicated by the
countdown 'oooo' on the display.
6. During the countdown, you should remain still on the scales. As soon as the
countdown has fi nished, you can step off the scales.
7. The values determined are shown to you on the display in the following order
(illustrated here using the example of a man with the profi le number P2):
8. The scales switch off automatically after a few moments.
