• After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify
its integrity based on the drawing and any presence of damage
caused by transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and
contact an authorised service centre.
• Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic bag
out of the reach of children - risk of suffocation!
• Before connecting the appliance, please make sure that the voltage
data indicated on the identification technical data correspond to
those of the mains voltage. The identification technical data are
found on the appliance (3) and on the power supply (22).
• This appliance must only be used for the purpose for which it was
designed, namely, as a hair dryer for home use. Any other use is
considered not compliant and therefore dangerous.
• When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use
since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the
appliance is switched off.
• For additional protection, the installation of a residual current
device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not
exceeding 30 mA (ideal 10 mA) is advisable in the electrical circuit
supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
WARNING: do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers,
basins or other vessels containing water. Never place the
appliance in water.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
DO NOT use the appliance with wet hands, damp feet or
barefoot.
DO NOT pull the power cable or the appliance itself to remove
the plug from the socket.
DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather conditions
(rain, sun, etc.).
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before
cleaning or performing maintenance and when the appliance is
not in use.
• If the appliance is faulty or malfunctions, switch it off and do
