The TV lift serves the following purpose:
• lifting a flat screen TV from a suitable furniture item,
• lowering a flat screen TV into a suitable furniture item.
The TV lift may be installed/used in the following surroundings:
• on rear panels and base plates of suitable and sufficiently load bearing
furniture items (refer to 2.3Installation requirements / Technical data),
• in dry interior rooms and at room temperatures of +10°C to +40°C..
The suitability of the flat screen TV, the assembly surroundings and the furniture
item must be checked and evaluated by the fitters (see chapter "2.3 Installation
requirements / Technical data").
Only use the TV lift as it was installed by the fitters. If the TV lift will be used in
another furniture item or for a larger/heavier flat screen TV in the future, contact
the manufacturer or qualified personnel.
The lifting and lowering process occurs optionally via the supplied manual switch
or the optional remote control.
The lifting and lowering process is always vertical.
Any use not mentioned in chapter 2.2 is considered to be improper. The owner
or fitter is responsible for any risk of resulting damages.
The following also applies:
Do not install/use the TV lift in the following surroundings:
• in outdoor areas and in areas exposed to weather/humidity,
• in potentially explosive or aggressive environments,
• near hot surfaces, heat sources (heaters, stoves, microwaves, etc.) or in
areas with direct sunlight,
• free-standing in a room (without being attached to a furniture item),
• on fronts or tops of furniture items.
The following are also considered to be improper use:
• Continuous use and overuse (use of more than 2 minutes at a time at full load
or more than 6 minutes per hour),
• overhead mounting,
• using the TV lift for horizontal movements,
• loading the TV lift with more than 65 kg,
• attaching larger flat screen TVs than specified in chapter
"2.3 Installation requirements / Technical data".
• mounting and using defective parts or non-original parts,
• using the control unit to power other units,
• attaching other units to the lift column,
• omitting components during the assembly,
• conversion, maintenance or repair work on the TV lift,
• cleaning the TV lift by other means than described in chapter "1.7 Cleaning".
