1.12 Failure table

As a result of normal use, parts will be wear out. (for example Flails and V-belts).
Pay Attention: only use original "Perfect" parts that are listed in the parts book.
Failure
Strong vibration and too much
noise
Machine and or mow quality
won't work very well
Flail rotor won't rotate
PTO shaft runs, but flail rotor
don't
Rear roller turns heavily or is
blokked
V-belt problems ( too much
belts are worn out, belts burns
Causes
Flails not evenly worn out
(more) Flails are fixed and don't
move
One or more flails are lost or
broken
Thread or other stuff wrapped
around the flail rotor.
Flail rotor not in balans
Bearings of Flail rotor are worn
out
PTO shaft isn't in line
Machine isn't horizontal
adjusted with the bottom
Flails are worn out
Speed flail rotor too low

V-belt tension too low
V-belt is worn out
Cutting height too low adjusted
Cutting height too high adjusted
Flail rotor is stuck through
pollution
Overrunning clutch in PTO shaft

Solution
Change flails, complete with bolt and
nut as a pair or as complete set
Clean the Machine so that the flails
can be move.
Change flails.
Remove pollution
Check the rotor / bearings and when is
necessary, must it be balanced
Change bearings and / or flails
Change PTO shaft
Check rear roller and / or upper
linkage adjustment. When is necessary
add it in the correct way
Klepels compleet met bouten en
moeren vervangen
Increase PTO speed
Reduce speed
Check V-belt tension and retension if
necessary
Change complete set V-belts
Check rear roller adjustment and
change that when necessary
Check rear roller adjustment and
change that when necessary
Remove dirt and clean the machine
Change overrunning clutch PTO shaft
or gear box
Change set V-belts
Adjust the spring package correctly or
change the clutch plates
Changes bearings and grease these to
the correct level
Grease bearings until the grease
comes outside
Remove dirt
Check V-belt adjustment and when
needed adjust it correctly
