For fi ne, smooth or brittle hair, we recommend using a
low temperature setting (130 – 170 °C); for normal, thick
or wavy hair, we recommend using a higher temperature
setting (190 – 230 °C).
D Time setting
You can select the heating time (3 – 10 seconds) with the time
setting. For light curls and waves, select a shorter heating time
or, if you would like distinct curls, select a longer heating time.
E On/Off switch
You can turn the device on or off with the On/Off switch. For
this, always hold the button down until a signal sounds.
F Rotation setting
You can set the number of rotations for winding up your hair
strands with the rotation setting.

Safety devices

• The device has an automatic switch-off function. If the de-
vice is activated continuously for 60 minutes, it will auto-
matically switch off. If you would like to continue using it
afterwards, switch it back on with the On/Off button (E).
• The device is equipped with overload protection. It will au-
tomatically switch off and the display shows the error mes-
sage ER2 if e.g. too much hair is placed in the hair cham-
ber (also see the chapter "What do I do in the event of an
error?"). If you would like to continue using it afterwards,
switch it back on with the On/Off button (E).
