the frequency is identical to the frequency of
a channel in a group, the group and channel
numbers are indicated in the lower line
5) Press the button SETUP to save the frequency
adjusted
4.5.2 Selecting a frequency from a group
The easiest way to operate multiple transmitters
at the same time is to select the frequencies from
one of the 6 groups:
1) Call up setting menu for the receiver section
(see chapter 4 5 1); then call up the group
and channel selections via the menu item

2) Turn the knob PUSH / CONTROL to select
the group
3) Press the knob to highlight the channel num-
ber Then turn the knob to select the channel
The corresponding transmission frequency is
indicated in the lower line

4.5.3 Scan function
Before a transmission channel is selected, the
scan function can be used to determine if other
transmission systems are currently transmitting
on the channels of the receiver R-4/5 The chan-
nels already used will be skipped during channel
 
selection
Call up setting menu for the receiver section (see
chapter 4 5 1); then call up the selection menu for
scanning via the menu item
1.All Groups
2.Result List
3.Current Group
4.Return
It is possible to scan the channels of all groups
(
  table on page 27) (this will take approx
1 minute) or only the channels of one group (this
is faster)
Note: To return to the setting menu, use the menu
item

– Scanning all channels –
1) Select the menu item
(fig  15) if it has not been selected yet Then
press the knob PUSH / CONTROL
Scan All Groups
Press Setup or Enter to
start scan.
Press Exit to quit.
2) Press the button SETUP or the knob PUSH /
CONTROL to start scanning The display in-
dicates
Scanning...
time, press the button EXIT
3) After scanning, the free channels are indi-
cated

12 channels In group 1, 14 channels are avail-
able, i e 2 channels are already being used
4) Turn the knob PUSH / CONTROL to select all

that the channel number is highlighted Then
turn the knob When the knob is turned, the
channels already used are skipped
