ADJUSTING THE RIVING KNIFE
L oosen the screws (22) a few turns.
A djust the riving knife (19).
- The lowest tooth of the saw blade does
not protrude more than 5 mm below the riving knife.
- The distance between the riving knife
and the teeth of the saw blade is about 2-5 mm.
T ighten the screws.
ADJUSTING THE DEPTH OF CUT
The depth of cut is infinitely adjustable.
A clean cut is achieved with the saw blade
protruding from the material by approx. 3 mm.
L oosen the adjusting screw (5).
S et the required depth of cut according to
the scale (4).
T ighten the adjusting screw.
SETTING THE MITRE ANGLE (FIG. A)
The mitre angle is infinitely variable between
0° and 45°.
L oosen the set screws (9).
S et the required mitre angle using the
scale (8).
T ighten the set screws.
MOUNTING THE PARALLEL FENCE (FIG. A)
The parallel fence allows sawing parallel to
an edge at a maximum distance of 10 cm.
L oosen the adjusting screw (14).
I nsert the parallel fence (13) into the saw
base (10) as shown in the illustration.
S et the parallel fence to the required distance.
T ighten the adjusting screw.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
C lamp the workpiece. Make sure that the
side which will be visible later is facing
down, because the cut is most accurate at
that side.
S witch on the machine before it touches
the workpiece. Do not exert pressure on
the saw blade. Allow the machine enough
time to cut the workpiece.
H old the machine with both hands using
both grips. This ensures optimum control
over the machine.
F or straight cuts along a drawn line use
the marking for straight cuts (13).
F or bevel cuts along a drawn line use the
marking for bevel cuts (12).
SWITCHING ON AND OFF
T o switch the tool on, keep the lock-off
button (2) depressed and press the on/off
switch (1).
T o switch the tool off, release the on/off
switch.
DUST EXTRACTION
A vacuum cleaner can be connected to the
dust extraction connector, either directly to
the connector or using an adapter.
I f necessary, connect an adapter to the
connector (3).
P referably use a vacuum cleaner for
industrial use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The machine does not require any special
maintenance.
R egularly clean the ventilation slots.
