PREPARATION

Supplied antenna

◆ Connecting speakers

Speakers and speaker cables are not included with this unit. If connecting a subwoofer,
connect one with a built-in amplifi er to the [SUBWOOFER] on the rear panel.
CAUTION Use speakers with an impedance of at least 6 Ω.

Remove the insulation from the ends of the speaker cables to expose the
bare wires.

Connect the speakers to the unit as
shown in the fi gure at left.
Ensure that the left and right speakers
are connected to the left and right (L, R)
jacks respectively, and that the polarity of
the wires is correct (red: +, black: –).
Be careful not to allow the right and left bare speaker wires to touch
CAUTION
each other or other metal parts. Doing so could damage this unit and
the speakers.

◆ Connecting the antenna

Connect the supplied antenna as shown in the fi gure at left.

Secure it with pins or other supports in the location with best reception.

◆ Turning on the power

After all the connections are
completed, turn on the power.
