SUITABLE USES
The H-4896 Deluxe Plastic Pail Pump can be used to
pump acids, alkaline and chlorine-based chemical
liquids, teat dips, oils, lubricants and many crop
chemicals, including those that contain mild solvents.
CAUTION! Use products only as recommended.
Read directions on product label before use.
1. Wear protective clothing and equipment.
2. Keep out of reach of children.
3. Always replace safety strap immediately
after use of pump.
4. Follow first aid instructions on the SDS sheet
for the liquid being pumped.
5. Avoid splashing of products.
6. Do not use to pump gasoline, other
flammables or solvents.
ADAPTER INSTALLATION
1. Remove pail cap from the flex spout. Push flex spout
up from bottom of lid. (See Figure 1)

2. Carefully remove the flex spout with a knife, leaving
the crimped-on ring attached to the lid. (See Figure 2)

3. Unscrew the top adapter from the bottom assembly.
Remove O-ring from assembly. (See Figure 3)
4. Remove the top ring from the bottom piece. Snap
bottom piece in place over the crimped flex spout
ring on the lid. (See Figure 4)
5. Re-install the top ring by snapping it over the bottom
piece. (See Figure 5)
6. Slide the top adapter over the pump tube with the
internal threads positioned toward the bottom of the
tube. Slide the O-ring over the pump tube.
