POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
• Check the air filter and clean it
• Adjust the idle speed until the engine is running
correctly and at a reasonable speed when idling.
• Check and clean the air filter
• Remove the cylinder head from the engine and
clean the carbon from the combustion chamber.
For the exhaust muffler, remove it and clean the
carbon deposits from the exhaust port inlet.
• Remove the spark plug and clean the carbon
deposits from the electrodes before replacing
them.
• Clean the carburetor
• Make sure that the hoses are connected correctly,
that the inlet filter is not blocked or muddy,
that the hose is not twisted or clogged. Replace
damaged hoses.
• Clean the filters
• Remove the lance extension from the lance. Start
the machine. When the flow of water coming
out of the lance is continuous, it means that
there is no more air. Stop the engine, put the
drawbar back on and then start the engine.
• Unblock the nozzle. If damaged, replace it
• Have the pump inspected and adjusted
• Have the machine inspected and repaired.
• Make sure there is enough detergent, and that it
is the right one.
• Make sure that the detergent flow control (if
applicable) is sufficiently open.
• Make sure that the detergent tube is correctly
connected to the pump. Check that the tube
is not clogged, twisted or damaged and that
the suction end of the tube is immersed in the
detergent.
• Make sure the nozzle you are using is the correct
one for the detergent you are using (low pressure
nozzles).
• Clean or replace the filter (if equipped)
