Carefully remove this appliance from its packaging, and check the
cooker hood for damage� Never install a damaged cooker hood�

Check that the electrical connections (frequency and voltage) are suitable for the
electricity network in order to prevent damage to the appliance� If in doubt, contact an

User Safety Instructions

Do not cook flambéed dishes under the cooker hood, as flames can
be drawn up into the filters and may set grease residue alight.

Regularly clean the grease filters. Dirty grease filters disrupt the
correct operation of the appliance and increase the risk of fire.

Do not use the appliance without grease filters.

Do not use water to extinguish flames.

Cooking on a gas stove can generate considerable heat�

Always ensure that there is a pan on a lit gas ring. Switch off
the gas ring when you remove the pan from the hob�

When using several rings on the hob, switch the cooker hood
to position 2 or higher�

To ensure optimum fume extraction, switch on the cooker hood a
few minutes before you start cooking� Leave the cooker hood swit-
ched on for 10 minutes after you finish cooking.

When using an induction hob, it is recommended to only use the
boost function at the start� This prevents excessive fumes being
generated during the cooking process�
