NOTE: Battery operated (6x 1.5 V batteries AA - not inclu-
ded. Always use NEW batteries. Do not use old and new
batteries together.
Vacuum bag (illustration F)
Fill the vacuum bag with items of food.
Seal the vacuum bag. You will hear a click sound whilst
sealing up the vacuum bag.
Lay the vacuum bag flat on the work surface and check
that no food is sat above the maximum fill line or under
the air valve.
Press the tip of the vacuum sealer flat against the vacuum
bag's air valve.
Press the on switch to remove the oxygen.
Release the switch once the bag has tightly sealed in the
food. DO NOT HOLD the vacuum device against the valve
for any longer than necessary.
Store the now airtight food correctly or freeze it immedi-
ately.
Vacuum cover (illustration E)
Fill a container matching the vacuum cover with items of
food. Thanks to its large vacuum area, the vacuum cover
is suitable for different sized containers (illustration 14).
For example, cover size ‚M' fits container sizes ø10 to ø20
cm.
Place the vacuum cover on the container.
Press the top of the vacuum sealer flat against the vacu-
um bag's air valve.
Press the on switch to remove the oxygen. It takes
between 10 and 15 second to remove the oxygen from
the container. You should be able to see the cover
bending slightly downwards due to the pressure caused
by vacuum packing process. You will also be able to hear
a muffled sound, which tells you that the container is
almost airtight. You should then release the on switch. DO
NOT HOLD the vacuum device against the valve for any
longer than necessary.
Store the now airtight food correctly or freeze it immedi-
ately.
In order to open the vacuum cover, push the air valve
upwards. Air will then fill the container and you will be
able to simply lift the vacuum cover off.
Vacuum bottle sealer (Illustration G)
Press the vacuum bottle sealer into the bottle.
Press the tip of the vacuum sealer flat against the vacuum
lid's air valve .
Press the on switch to remove the oxygen.
Then, release the on switch. DO NOT HOLD the vacuum
device against the valve for any longer than necessary.
Keep the vacuum-sealed bottle in the fridge.

ve upwards. This automatically releases air into the bottle
and you can simply lift off the vacuum bottle sealer.
CLEANING AND CARING
Vacuum device:
The vacuum device can be cleaned using a damp cloth. The
vacuum device must not be submerged in water or placed
in a dishwasher.
Vacuum device - removable chamber:
Remove the chamber and clean it whenever it contains
liquid. To remove it, simply turn in the direction of the arrow,
which can be found on the vacuum device. Clean in warm,
soapy water. Allow to air-dry, before replacing.
Cleaning the vacuum bag:
Turn the bag inside out and wash using your usual washing
detergent to remove any waste. Wipe over with a dry towel
and allow to dry completely before reusing. Do not wipe the
valve. Do not wash the vacuum bag in a dishwasher.
Cleaning the vacuum cover and the vacuum bottle
sealer:
Wash by hand using a standard washing up detergent or
wash in a dishwasher.
Replacing the batteries:
Remove the battery cover by pressing on the catch. Insert
6 AA alkali- batteries and check that the plus and minus
symbols (+/-) on the batteries match up with the markings
on the battery cover. Replace the battery cover.
TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL OPERATION
• Do not allow the vacuum device to be operated uninter-
rupted for a long period of time. Remove the oxygen in
short pumps. Wait a few seconds between each pump.
• Do not use the vacuum device on liquids. Freeze before-
hand to solidify.
• It is better to peel fruit and blanch green vegetables before
they are vacuum-packed and frozen. .
• To ensure that vacuum bags are cleaned thoroughly, pack
fatty foods like meat or fish in a standard freezer bag
before vacuum packing.
• Take care that food with sharp edges or pointed areas or
powder do not pierce holes in the vacuum bags.
• Before filling a bag, write down its contents on the sup-
plied white label.

WARRANTY PROVISIONS

The warranty does not cover any defects which have been
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The batteries have run out or they
have not been inserted correctly.
SOLUTION
Check that the batteries have been
inserted correctly matching the cor-
rect polarity (+/-), which is indicated
on the battery cover. Replace the
batteries.
