4. Power on / off
Press the « ON / OFF » button for approximately 3 seconds to activate the LCD display.
Press the « ON / OFF » button for approximately 3 seconds to turn the LCD display off.

Press the the « ON / OFF » button for 1 second to « freeze » an image, to take a screenshot.
Press the the « ON / OFF » button for 1 second to « unfreeze » an image, to deactivate a
screenshot.
6. Zoom in
Press the « ZOOM IN » button for 1 second to adjust the digital zoom. You can switch from a
zoom x1, to x2, to x3 or even to x4 ...
7. Colors switch
Press the « COLORS SWITCH » button for 1 second to scroll through the color palette.
7 different colors patterns are possible:
- White hot,
- Purple hot,
- Rainbow,
- Amber hot,
- Iron hot,
- Black hot,
- Red hot
Press the "COLOR SWITCH" button for 3 seconds to display a small square on the hottest
area.
8. Cautions for use
− The VIS1053 thermal vision monocular has an uncooled microbolometer detector that
uses a highly sensitive thermal sensor. The lens must not be directed towards a source
of radiation (such as the sun, a laser beam or a reflective source, etc.) whether the
product is switched off or on. The product would then be permanently damaged.
− The lens is a fixed focus-free lens that does not need to be rotated during use,
otherwise it will cause image blur.
− Do not open the case or alter it.
− Keep the product out of reach of children.
− Do not use any power source other than 3-V CR123 Lithium batteries.
− Make sure the batteries polarity is correct.
− Remove the batteries from the product if not used for an extended period.
