Group 2/3 (forward-facing)
(For children weighing 15–36 kg)
Note: Initially, remove the 5-point belt system as previously described.
• Press the two lateral Isofix connector buttons in order to extend the length of the Isofix con-
nectors.
• Fold out the support leg.
• Guide the Isofix connectors to the Isofix connector pieces on the seat of the vehicle and
ensure that they lock in position.
• Slide the child car seat until it rests securely against the backrest of the car seat. Please
ensure that both Isofix indicators are showing green.
• In the 15 to 36 kg age class (ECE group 2/3), the support leg should not touch the vehicle
floor.
• The child car seat may only be used in seat position 5 in this age class.
• When placing your child in the child car seat, turn the car seat towards the car door for con-
venience.
• Now thread the diagonal belt through the belt guide on the head support.
• Put your child in the child car seat.
• Make sure that the head support is correctly adjusted as described above.
• Close the buckle on the 3-point belt.
• Every time you fasten your child into the seat, please make sure that the car's 3-point belt
is not twisted and is correctly positioned in its belt guide on the head support and in the
pelvic area.
• Turn the seat into the forward-facing position. Check whether the child car seat is locked in
this position.
Installation without Isofix:
Alternatively, the child car seat can also be installed with just the 3-point belt in group 2/3.
