5. The base and kettle body should not be wet.
6. Only use the kettle in combination with its original base.
USING THE APPLIANCE
Boil clean water fi ve times before using the appliance for the fi rst time.
1. Fill the kettle with water. Do not overfi ll the kettle, watch the water level indicator.
2. Place the kettle on its base.
3. Switch the appliance on after putting the plug into the outlet. Lit button indicates the heating of water.
4. The kettle will switch off automatically after the boiling process has fi nished.
5. Unplug the cord from the outlet.
6. Do not open the lid when pouring the water out.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before cleaning the kettle always disconnect the power supply plug from the wall outlet and make sure the
kettle is cold!
Wipe the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth and then wipe dry.

The scale fi lter can be removed for the cleaning process. Use designated and commonly available agents to
remove scale from the kettle.
