4. When the measurement is complete, the systolic and diastolic
pressure and pulse rat values will be shown simultaneously on
the display and automatically saved in the sys-
tem's memory. The memory can store up to 90
measurements.
5. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the monitor
off. If no button is pressed, the monitor will automatically switch off
after 60 seconds.
This monitor will automatically inflate the armband to approximately 220 mmHg if the system
detects that your body needs greater pressure in order to measure your blood pressure.
Note 1: This monitor automatically switches off 60 seconds after the last button pressed.
Note 2: To interrupt the measurement, simply press any button. The armband will deflate
immediately after the button is pressed.
Note 3: Do not talk or move your arm or hand muscles during measurement.
Troubleshooting
If any faults should occur during use, please check the following points:
Symptom
Nothing appears on the
display when the
ON/OFF/START button is
pressed
The EE symbol appears on
the display or the blood
pressure value is excessively
high or low
Note: If the unit still does not work, take it to an authorised Artsana service centre. Under no
circumstances should you disassemble and attempt to repair the unit yourself.
Recalling values from the memory
1. To read the values stored in the memory, press the Memory but-
ton. The memory values will be shown on the LCD display. The
last measurement will be shown first. Each time the Memory but-
ton is pressed, the previous memory value is displayed.
Note 1: The data in the memory will not be lost even when the
Blood Pressure Monitor
is switched off.
Note 2: The values stored in the
memory can be deleted in
2 ways: o by removing the
batteries; o by pressing
the Memory button for
longer than 5 seconds.

Have the batteries run out?
Are the batteries inserted
correctly?
Is the armband correctly
applied in the proper posi-
tion?
Did you talk or move during
measurement?
Did you move your wrist
whilst wearing the armband?

Correction
Replace them with 4 new
alkaline batteries.
Reinsert the batteries in the
correct position.
Reapply the armband in the
correct position
Take the measurement again
without moving.
