Setting Seat and Cover Auto Open, Auto Close
NOTE: This feature will sense movement and open the seat and ring when approached. The side sensor
settings disable the front motion sensor.
NOTE: This feature comes enabled, set at [near] sensitivity.
NOTE: This side sensor is motion activated. Move your foot within 9" (229 mm) of the side sensor to
activate it. The feature comes enabled, set at [near] sensitivity.
Select [settings].
Select [feature settings].
Select [auto open and close].
Select [off] to disable the auto open and close feature or select the level of sensitivity you wish to
set for the feature.
NOTE: Typically, small bathrooms should be set at [near], large bathrooms at [far].
To enable the seat and ring opening when you approach the toilet, select [near], [medium], or [far]
for the desired sensitivity.
To allow control of the seat and ring with the side sensor, select [side sensor - lid only] or [side
sensor - lid and ring].
Select [home] to return to the main screen or [back] to return to the previous screen.
NOTE: Opening will not activate with the front motion sensor if [side sensor - lid only] or [side sensor -
lid and ring] are activated. The side sensor will open and close the seat and ring, when selected in this
setting.
