Save time and money! Review the charts on the following

Possible Causes
Improper cookware
being used.
In some areas, the power
(voltage) may be low.
A fuse in your home may be
blown or the circuit breaker

What To Do
• Use pans which are flat and match the diameter of
the surface unit selected.
• Cover pan with a lid until desired heat is obtained.
• R
eplace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker.
• Check to see the correct control is set for the surface
unit you are using.
On the Control Panel, activate the Self Clean mode
(press the SELF CLEAN button).
Wait for 30 seconds and then press the OFF button.
The cooktop should now be ready to operate.
• Scratches are not removable. Tiny scratches will become
less visible in time as a result of cleaning.
